Hey so this last week is awesome! I have one of my favorite persons ever in my district, who I have served around before ELDER AH CHING! YEH BUDDY

This area is awesome, I have driven past the beach down here and it is pretty sad compared to California, but I will take what I can get haha! Monday was fun we went to the edge water mall and played some bball! Tuesday we went on exchanges I went with Elder Ah Chings companion Elder Bierer. It was fun we did some work in the area and it was way fun. Then on Wednesday we had a great ddm, then ate some lunch. My companion Elder Castrejon came down with a cold, so I went on another small exchange with Elder Ah Ching, I went with him this time. It was a blast, we were able to talk about alot of things and catch up. His family lives in Utah in Farmington, and he will be returning to U of U for school so we are going to hang out after the mission fo sho.

Great news on the BYU classes, I am excited for that, the rules seem so strict, what a bummer.  Anyways then on thursday Elder Castrejon and I were able to visit some Mexicans and it was fun. Still have no idea on how to speak spanish, I kind of gave up on trying to learn it. haha. Maybes thats why i was not called to a spanish speaking mission haha. Then on Sat we had a dinner appt with some members they fed us pork chops, soooo good. I was so thankful. Oh also when I was on Exchanges with Elder Bieirer the inv, accepted a baptismal date so that was way cool. So hopefully Elder Beirer and my boii will have a baptism next month. As the mission is coming to an end as you know all the missionaries are trying to get shredded. So we have been enjoying our wonderful apt gym here at our house, so we have been working hard spiritually and trying to physically shredded also. It is awesome.

I love all these missionaries im around, I love this area, the members are awesome and I am just loving life I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS I JUST LOVE IT!

SO MANY WONDERFUL THINGS AHEAD!!!

For spiritual food this email I got something awesome for you, I gave myself a challenge to read the book of mormon 20 pgs a day before I come home, so I will have read it 3 times by the time i come home. But i came accross something magical;

1 Nephi 20 :18-19

18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments—then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea.

19 Thy seed also had been as the sand; the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.

We need to keep the commandments so we can be righteous like the waves of the sea. SO WHAT DO WE LEARN, GOD LOVES THE BEACH and he LOVES YOU!!!

haha

Week #89 – Got to Love the South

(Got to love the South)

Life is so great, I got transferred to Biloxi and I love it, the ward is so legit. The district im in is way fun and we work hard. The members are willing to work with us and teach people. So it is super good. Also Biloxi is big so there is alot of cool stuff around here. this week was awesome we did some tracting some mexican member presents so i was running around not nothing anything other than como astas? beuno amigo hahaahahahaha anyways so fun. My companion is legit, we are having a great time teaching the gospel. I love the gospel it is so true, if we choose to believe and live it we can know for a surety of its truth and that is what i love about it.

We are doing good missionary work here in Biloxi if any investigators get serious i will let you know as of right now we dont have any serious investigators.

Anyways dominate this week, choose to be happy, and do what is hard, when you do what is hard your life will be easy.

Okay awesome. So I am in Biloxi now as the district leader we have a huge district and I love the missionaries i am around. I am serving with a spanish missionary!!! We are a zebra companionship. His name is Elder Casterjon, I am getting a taste of that spanish love I thought i would have had, serving in the latin america like wyatt and travis and all those other homies who learned spanish on the mission. I will have a front row seat to sitting in on a lesson and not having any idea what is being said.

Also what would be a good arrival date for me to get back, I know the mission president will allow a few weeks or two a whole transfer sometimes, to go home early for those in our transfer and the ones that follow so close to the beginning of school. Was there an ideal date that you would like me to see if the Mission president would let me return home on to accomadate the lease or anything? Let me know if you want me to just go home with some of the people I came out with or to go a few weeks early for school? Anyways I am excited to continue to serve and I am so pumped that I got transferred to the coast, it is the only place i have not been yet!!!! Also our apt is sooooo nice I love it! GONNA DOMINATE THESE LAST 3 transfers, its probably my last area!

Love yall!

Week #87 No Shortage of Trials

Hey Mom, love you so much. I miss and pray for the family every day. I am so thankful for the love and support I feel from all of you. What a blessing it is to be alive, to have health, to have a family that loves one another. To be apart of the greatest gospel on the earth, and Gods true church. I am so thankful for that knowledge of the truth.

This week was a good one. It is my last week in the Farmerville Area. I will miss those who I have come to love.I am getting transferred to the gulfport zone. Everywhere we serve, we leave a piece of our heart. I loved Farmerville and I felt loved here.

I am so thankful for the mission. It is such an awesome experience to learn a little bit about what the Savior did for us and to share that with others. This is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, this is the truth, what a blessing it is to know that we have a prophet today, and the keys of the priesthood are on the earth. I am so thankful for the Gospel of our loving Savior. We can repent, we can change, we can experience joy, we can experience what it is like to be happy, what it is like to know that death is not the end.

In this world that is fallen. There is no shortage of trials, sin, difficulties and suffering. Think of it. Think of those people in the world who experience hardship, who have disabilities. There are sons and daughters of God in the world, who can not walk, who can not move there hands, who cant move, and there only dream is to be able to move the way we can, they wish they could experience what it is like to run, to feel. Think about those who cannot see, who struggle through a dark world and who do not know what colors are, and what they look like, what another person looks like, or who it is that takes care of them. Oh how they dream they could see those angels who help them in the world. What about those who are born in a world with no known parents in a land that is full of poverty, and they don’t have any chance to receive education and grow and make a change. What about those who hunger for days and do not know where there next meal will come from, that know exactly what it is like to starve to death. We are so blessed.

I testify that our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ live, that they are resurrected beings, they live, they love you, they know your name. They have all power to help those in need. The savior knows exactly what those of us in the world are suffering with. while he was here on the earth he healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, and healed the lame so they could walk. I know he loves us, I know that he watches over us. I know the keys of the priesthood have been restored and that those keys are held by each of the living apostles. I hope and pray that we can all come to realize through the Holy Spirit of God how much we are richly blessed. That we will be the servants he wants us to be, that we may lift the wounded knee and uplift the spirit that is down. that we may experience the joy that comes from unselfish service to our God. Feel the magnitude of promises and blessings we have to be apart of the Lords true church. In the name of merciful Savior Jesus Christ, amen.

Love Each and every one of you

Week #86 Let’s Get It

Hey Family!!! This week was awesome! It was really spiritually rewarding and it was really fun also! The missionary work in Farmerville, LA is going great! I love the mission, just making the best of it these last few months! it is crazy to think I have such a short time left! I think I will get transferred to my last area soon, but I am uncertain if it will be this transfer on April 12 or the next one. General Conference was awesome, my favorite talks were from President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Bonnie L. Oscarson, and Jeffrey R. Holland. They were fantastic I loved it so much!

This week was awesome. On Wednesday we had exchanges, I went with Elder Rawi he is from Vanuatu around Fiji. He is funny. We did a lot of fun things. We ran into a alligator turtle on the side of the road so we got out and took a picture of it, it was crazy looking. Some members gave us root beer floats, we had some lessons with some investigators. It was awesome. We also found some people in the ghetto and we played basketball with them. Elder Rawi has never played bball so it was basically me verses them. WE WON! 😉 16-14 we were going to 15 it was wayyy fun, a good way to do missionary work.

In Life we sometimes think that we cant do something, or that greatness is out of our reach. That the Atonement of Jesus Christ is for everyone but us, that we are just simply to far out of its reach, that just maybe we can change or maybe out of luck we can be forgiven. Maybe one day I will find the strength to change or be happy. Just maybe one day it will change. THAT IS SATAN, don’t let him sell you such negative thinking. Maybe you have doubt in your life, you don’t know what is going to happen in the future and it scares you, maybe you are worried about what people say about you.

Let me give you some advice. GET THE LOSERS OUT OF YOUR LIFE. THE PERSON WHO YOU SHOULD BE CONCERNED WITH IS YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER, HIS THOUGHTS are the only ones that matter about you.

Don’t think down on yourself, you are your own enemy! YOU NEED TO REALIZE that we need to be positive, life is amazing we can make it amazing if WE CHOOSE to succeed, if we choose have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE! What do you really have to complain about! YOU HAVE NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT COME ON are you kidding me!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! REMEMBER THE SAVIOR HE DIED FOR YOU!

He suffered for you! HE loves you! WE HAVE the greatest opportunity anyone could ask for! But this opportunity means absolutely nothing if we don’t take advantage of it in the lifetime of this opportunity!

COWARDS GIVE UP, WEAKLINGS SAY ITS TOO HARD!

ITS NOT TO HARD!

The secret is this, its not the system, its not your weakness its not your trials, its not your problems, it is your attitude towards those problems. If you are not happy if you are not successful if you have doubts, it is because you are not making the sacrifice for obedience to God.

Anyone can be a loser and anyone can give up, BUT YOU GOT TO HARNESS YOUR WILL TO SUCCEED!

THE BIGGEST ENEMY YOU HAVE IS YOURSELF!

YOU CAN SUCCEED YOU CAN HAVE THAT BUSINESS YOU WANT, YOU CAN BE THE PERSON GOD WANTS YOU TO BE, BUT YOU HAVE TO WANT IT, YOU HAVE TO PRAY FOR IT, YOU HAVE TO STUDY, YOU HAVE TO DO THE THINGS YOU KNOW YOU SHOULD DO!

BROTHERS AND SISTERS FRIENDS AND FAMILY! YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS US!!!!!!

NEVER GIVE UP, WE ARE ALREADY HURT, WE ALREADY SUFFER, SO GET A REWARD FOR IT, THE DOTS WILL CONNECT DOWN THE ROAD!

NEVER GIVE UP!

IT WILL MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep your covenants, have a positive attitude and do what is hard, and have hope!

Love each and everyone of you!
