New Year’s Eve early dinner with Bro. Randle!

Hey Mom,

It was awesome to see the family! The church is so true! I had a great time talking with yall on skype! The mission is awesome, and I am excited to start off the new year, and dominate the next 8 months. Crazy that I have been out for that long! I gave a talk on Sunday with my companion we filled the whole sacrament meeting in the Farmerville Branch. I talked for twenty-minutes on Christ’s Earthly Ministry. It was good, we felt the spirit, I teared up a little. It was a blessing to speak.

I loved the talk that Elder Dieter F. Ucktdorf gave at the 2015 Christmas devotional. “The Generous One”

“Master, what is the greatest commandment in the law? Love God with all your heart, might, mind and strength. The second is like unto it, Love thy neighbor as thyself.”

Even when our lives are not going right, when we are disappointed, and are sorrowful, we can have joy and peace because of Jesus Christ. Love God, serve him, remember him, and live after his sons example, even the Savior Jesus Christ. Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, and inspire those around you. Uplift those who are down, and comfort those who stand in need of comfort. We can overcome all things through our Savior Jesus Christ, he is the ultimate comforter. If we do these things, when the savior comes again we will rise with the just, and we will experience joy. Let us thank our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ, for all our many blessings even when things are not going the best for us. Have an attitude of gratitude, as you do, you will find JOY!

Joy to the world.

” Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” John 20

“Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.” Luke 24

Indeed as members of the only true church of our Savior Jesus Christ, we are witnesses of these things! In the name of Jesus Christ, amen!

Love yall, MERRY CHRISTMAS, and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Sincerely,

ELDER BRENAN CORBIN
