“The biggest risk in life is not taking one, so dont let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do”

“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing”

Impossible is nothing when you have the guided direction from the lord on your side!

Week #52- One year and counting… The Lord is Merciful

Go Pro pic Brenan took over a year ago!

Elder Corbin with Elder Kittrell

SOOOO awesome, Yeah Elder Kittrell is doing a lot better I think, he was thinking about going home, but there was no way I was gonna let him, so i fasted and he got an answer to his prayers and we are all good now. We all struggle a little bit when we first come out so its all good! But All i know is i’m in love with the ocean. I miss surfing! Crazy how I have not swam for 1 year…… Only one year left! Anyways.. Aubree’s wedding and everything was probably soooo fun! Wish I could have been there. but the Lord is so awesome and merciful ! WE are just moving and working hard. We tracted a ton this week, and we are hoping to continue to find, and teach. Crazy that i have been out for a year….. and Wyatt and TRavis are going home soon! It is so cool how life is moving along, and great and marvelous things are happening! In Elders Quorum the Elders Quorum president Nick Jones, he is cool, he does jiu jistu and is jacked, and he bet all the elders a steak dinner if they could memorize the thirteen articles of faith. SO I raised my hand and I said, “I think I might have a few” hahah then my comp and i said them, and we got a steak dinner at his house, it is pretty sick. Im excited. It will be good ! Everything is just going great right now for us, we don’t have to many investigators but we are just working and doing what we can! WE celebrated his birthday it was fun, he got so many packages ! THe gospel is sooo awesome, it is all about change, forgiveness, and happiness, there is no reason to be sad, im gonna make it short but, the gospel is so awesome and it is found in one of my favorite songs ever. Kolohe Kai Paradise…. here is the lyric

“And why, why don’t they lie?
And why don’t they cry?
I now know why, they can see paradise
And why don’t they lie?
And why don’t they cry?
I now know why, they can see paradise
They can see paradise ”

WE can see paradise with our families, the atonement of Jesus Christ will make all things that are unfair and wrong with this world and in the next life make all things merciful and just and restitute all things.

Church iss sooooooo true!

Week #51- Stand Firm in our Beliefs

my favorite ZL of all time, Elder Guillaume. too bad he goes home In two months…

Hey mom Im super stoked that you are feeling better that is great! Im glad that you were able to get those things mostly figured out, I fasted for you~ ! IM glad that this week will be a fun and a busy one, its kinda sad that i didnt get to be at ANY of the siblings temple sealings. I wish i could be there! Aubree is going to be married woooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so awesome, it is the most important thing you will ever do marry the right person in the right place! THat is truly truly gods plan for his children. Marrriage is the key. IT helps you draw closer to the savior and helps you learn things that you would not learn otherwise. . WE must leave our parents and cleave unto our spouses. Bring forth children to the earth. With all this homosexual stuff going around it is sad. AS members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints we do not, absolutely do not support gay marriage or gay actions. THe churchs stance is clear. We do not support gays, we do not want them getting married it is completely and utterly against the laws of God. The Church’s doctrinal position is clear: Sexual activity should only occur between a man and a woman who are married. However, that should never be used as justification for unkindness. Jesus Christ, whom we follow, was clear in His condemnation of sexual immorality, but never cruel. His interest was always to lift the individual, never to tear down. In short, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints affirms the centrality of doctrines relating to human sexuality and gender as well as the sanctity and significance of marriage as the union of a man and a woman.  However, the Church firmly believes that all people are equally beloved children of God and deserve to be treated with love and respect. Church apostle Elder Quentin L. Cook stated, “As a church, nobody should be more loving and compassionate. Let us be at the forefront in terms of expressing love, compassion and outreach. Let’s not have families exclude or be disrespectful of those who choose a different lifestyle as a result of their feelings about their own gender. IM afraid that alot of members of the church think that it is okay as long as they “be gay over there”………. it is still not okay. we are still nice to such people, but we do not accept what they are doing what is right, there was an article about a gay man in the church, he had a family and kids, and he saw that he was apart of his ward who were members of the church and who believe that marriage is only between man and woman, but that the members were supporting gays and showing an acceptance of there choice to be gay. AS he struggled with this it broke his heart. He was sad that the very people who were helping him live the gospel were supporting the sin in others! WECANNOT DO THIS! we need to be firm in our belief! “While we strive for the virtue of tolerance, other commendable qualities need not be lost. Tolerance does not require the surrender of noble purpose or of individual identity. The Lord gave instruction to leaders of His restored Church to establish and maintain institutional integrity—‘that the Church may stand independent’ (D&C 78:14)” (Elder Russell M. Nelson) Our objection to same‐sex marriage is not based on animosity toward anyone, but on our understanding of God’s purposes for His children. For us, the issues are not simply “tolerance” and “equality.” The issues are the nature of marriage and the consequences of redefining a divinely established institution. In addition, redefining marriage in the law can have profound consequences for society, particularly for children. Mothers and fathers matter, and they are not interchangeable. “On the subject of public discourse, we should all follow the gospel teachings to love our neighbor and avoid contention. Followers of Christ should be examples of civility. We should . . . be good listeners and show concern for the sincere belief [of others.] Though we may disagree, we should not be disagreeable. We should be wise in explaining our position and, in doing so, ask that others not be offended by our sincere religious beliefs and the free exercise of our religion” (Elder Dallin H. Oaks)\

Let us stand firm in our beliefs, let us cherish the most sacred gift god has given us, to be sealed for time and eternity to those we love, our families and our spouses, that we may be full of joy in this life, and in the life to come.

Love and miss yall and i hope that yall absolutely dominate this weeek! SOme of this letter i got from but its just phenomenal how true the church is!
